YUMA, Arizona.- On Thursday, September 22, 2022, at approximately 4:40 PM, The Yuma County Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of a gunshot wound victim in the 8100 Block of S. Mojave Lane.
Upon arrival, Deputies located the victim and rendered medical aid. Rural Metro Fire Department responded and the victim was transported to the Yuma Regional Medical Center where they were pronounced deceased.
The Yuma County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigations Bureau responded and assumed the investigation.
This case remains under investigation at this time. The victim’s identity will not be released at this time due to the active investigation.
This case and the Homicide case taken prior to this one, in the area of County 13th Street and Avenue F (DR#2022-84341) are unknown to be related at this time.
