Yuma Sector Border Patrol arrested an Honduras citizen with felonies

YUMA, Arizona. – U.S. Border Patrol agents assigned to the Yuma Station arrested an aggravated felon early Monday morning after he illegally entered the U.S. from Mexico.
Record checks conducted on Jose Santos Zavala Bonillas, a 77-year-old Honduran national, revealed he has felony convictions for possession of marijuana with intent to distribute, aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, and re-entry of a removed alien.
Zavala Bonillas was sentenced to more than 14 years in prison for his collective crimes and will once again face time behind bars for illegal re-entry.
