Yuma highs schoolers visiting AWC for High School Senior Day this coming week

YUMA, Arizona.– In an effort to eliminate barriers and make higher education accessible for all, Arizona Western College has created an event exclusively for high school seniors to visit the college.
AWC is hosting Senior Days for Yuma Union High School District seniors at the Yuma Campus, 2020 S. Ave. 8E. The event will be offered from 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 25, and on Wednesday, Oct. 26. Students will learn about majors and programs; go on a guided tour; participate in a scavenger hunt; have lunch on campus; and meet the AWC Matador Athletic teams.
“We’re excited for seniors to join us at AWC for High School Senior Day! Students will have an opportunity to explore our AWC campus and learn about the many benefits of continuing their education after high school,” said Biridiana Martinez, Admissions, Recruitment, and Outreach Coordinator.
Students can reach out to their high school counselor for additional details about this event.
