Yuma County Sheriff’s Office requesting public collaboration on a report of a missing person

YUMA, Arizona- On Thursday, August 11, 2022, at approximately 11:50 AM, the Yuma County Sheriff’s Office received a report of a missing person.
The missing person, identified as James Hinrichs, 57, of Yuma, AZ, was last seen driving a dark blue 2002 Ford Focus bearing an Arizona plate of XWA8LH. Mr. Hinrichs is described as being approximately 5’8” tall, weighing approximately 160 lbs., with brown hair, and hazel eyes.
James Hinrichs last known activity was on August 10, 2022 when a message was sent from his phone reporting he was lost in San Luis, Mexico.
Continuous efforts to locate Mr. Hinrichs by the Yuma County Sheriff’s Office have been unsuccessful.
