Yuma, Arizona.- On Tuesday, January 10, 2023, at approximately 2:05 AM, the Yuma County Sheriff’s Office received a report of a victim with a gunshot wound in the 3300 Block of W. 5th Street.
According to Tania Pavlak, Public Affairs Specialist with YCSO, upon arrival, Deputies located the victim, a 21-year-old male, who had an apparent gunshot wound. Rural Metro responded and he was transported to Yuma Regional Medical Center for treatment and he was later flown to a Phoenix area hospital.
Yuma County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigations Bureau responded and assumed the investigation.
This case remains under investigation at this time.
