Yuma, Arizona.- Once again, it comes that time of the year for a family in South Yuma County to give back to the community whose families are in need for school supplies.
It’s the Snyder ‘s 3rd annual education Drive organized by Gary Garcia Snyder, current Republican candidate for Arizona Senate, who aside of his campaign started this event when he noticed local schools in San Luis and Somerton, Arizona lack for education supplies, that most of the time parents and teachers have to buy themselves.
“Right now, we’re looking for volunteers to help out & put together the kids school supplies and the day of the Drive to give away,” said Garcia Snyder.
Those who are interested are more than welcome to contact Garcia Snyder by sending a text message to (928) 257-7290.
The traditional event is for all students of San Luis, Gadsden and Somerton, who must be present at the event in order to receive the backpacks filled with supplies.
All supplies have been provided by local businesses and local residential donations, said Garcia Snyder.
The event will be held at Los Alamos Subdivision Park, located at 2416 East Aguirre Street, San Luis, Arizona on Saturday July 30th, 2022 from 8:00 to 11:00 am.
