RCBH/COBINAS selects drawings for 2023 Binational Clean Air Calendar to be distribuited along Yuma, Arizona and San Luis Río Colorado, Sonora

Yuma, Arizona– The Binational Health & Environment Council of Yuma County, Arizona and San Luis Río Colorado, Sonora (COBINAS), which is sponsored by Regional Center for Border Health, Inc., is pleased to announce the selection of the 13 drawings and the Athlete who will illustrate and dedicate the 2023 Binational Clean Air Calendar.

According to Ms. Amanda Aguirre, former Senator of Arizona, and current President and CEO of RCBH, the objective of this contest is to raise awareness on the importance of taking care of our environment in the region, inviting students to make a drawing with emphasis on air quality, 3Rs (reduce, reuse, and recycle) or wildlife.

“We would like to appreciate all the students and their schools from both sides of the border region, because they did a tremendous job in giving us their drawings,” said Ms. Aguirre, “it was really difficult to select the drawings since all had a nice message about the environment conservation.”
