Imperial County Health Department head retires

Imperial, California. – Mrs. Ana Pritchard has announced her retirement from the Imperial County Public Health Department after 40 years of dedicated service. She started her employment with the Department as an Extra-Help Student Assistant in 1982 and was hired as a full-time Clerk Typist II shortly thereafter. Throughout the years, Ana worked as an Office Assistant III and currently serves as a Communicable Disease Specialist for Epidemiology. During her years in public health, she demonstrated the highest level of professionalism and commitment to serving members of the public with dignity and respect. In 2018, the California Tuberculosis Controllers Association presented Ana with the Andy Lopez Memorial Award and Scholarship for her outstanding contributions to tuberculosis prevention and control activities in Imperial County. The Public Health Department staff is forever grateful for Ana’s positive contributions to the field of public health and wish her the best of luck as she enjoys her well-deserved retirement with her loved ones.
