Fraudulent Schemes Suspect Arrested by Yuma County Sheriff

Yuma, Arizona.- Yuma County Sheriff’s Office Investigators have been working a case involving a suspect committing multiple counts of fraudulent activity and theft of a local auto dealership.
According to Tania Pavlak, Public Affairs Specialist, the offenses were reported to have taken place between the time frames of April to June of 2022 when notification to law enforcement was made. At the time, the suspect was employed by the auto dealership. The investigation revealed an approximate financial loss of $44,600.00 to the business and other victims.
On Wednesday, August 24, 2022, YCSO Investigators arrested and booked the suspect, Alfredo Ibarra, 42, Somerton, AZ, into the Yuma County Detention Center on six counts of Fraudulent Schemes and thirteen counts of Theft.
This case remains under investigation at this time.
