Family of four with 2 minors found by Wellton Border Patrol

Yuma, Arizona.- Border Patrol Wellton Station agents encountered a migrant family traversing the Sonoran Desert 20 miles south of Tacna, Arizona on Thursday.
The family included a four-, 11-, and 12-year-old and their parents.
«This could have easily turned into an emergency situation as temperatures continue to rise and water is non-existent, but smugglers have no regard for migrants’ lives,» stated the agency in a social media post.
The distance this family needed to travel to reach civilization was at least 30 miles!, it added.
With hashtags #YumaSector #photofromthefield and #notworthit the federal agency would like to remind non citizens the risk they will face if they keep crossing the border illegaly.
