Yuma, Arizona.- With the capacity to attend to emergencies 24 hours a day, this week a new hospital began operations in Yuma, whose facilities were attended by Mayor Douglas Nicholls to witness the new services.
This is Exceptional Community Hospital, located on the corner of Araby Road and Interstate 8, in a 20,000-square-foot building with 8 inpatient beds, 8 emergency beds, and 9 spaces for more serious conditions and night care. .
The hospital is part of the Texas-based chain Exceptional Healthcare, which has invested $20 million in this new Yuma location.
For the Mayor, the new hospital represents additional access to medical services in the city, and a source of employment for 100 people.
