EL CENTRO, California- After two year hiatus, the City of El Centro NFL Flag Football program is back! It is available to children 5-8 years of age.
Program offers the fundamentals in catching, passing, and routes. Coaches will provide a structured curriculum to teach sports specifics in youth flag football.
Season runs from September 19 – November 4.
Only 40 players per division.
Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Sports Pavilion will be the venue.
For registration here are the costs for 5-8 years:
El Centro residents: $100/child for 7-week league.
Non-El Centro residents: $110/child for 7-week league.
Child must attend assessment to be placed on team, no exceptions. Child will not e able to participate in league until assessed.
No electronic devices allowed.
Rules and registration costs for 5-6 years:
Assessment: September 6th, at 3:30-4:30 pm.
Practice: Monday, Tuesday, at 3:30 pm.
Venue: Martin Luther King Jr. Sports Pavilion
Game: Wednesdays at 7:00 or 8:00 pm.
General registration information:
Registration begins: August 1 for El Centro residents, and August 22for non-El Centro residents.
Conrad Harrison Youth Center from 8:30 am – 6:30 pm.
