Yuma, Arizona.- On Tuesday, August 23, 2022, at approximately 12:16 PM, the Yuma County Sheriff’s Office (YCSO) responded to the 18000 Block of S. Avenue 3E in reference to a shooting disturbance.
According to Tania Pavlak, Public Affairs Specialist with YCSO, upon arrival, deputies discovered a female subject shot a male victim during a domestic violence altercation. The victim was transported to Yuma Regional Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries.
The suspect, Delicia Markovich, 31, of Yuma, AZ, was arrested and booked into the Yuma County Detention Center for Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon per Domestic Violence.
This case remains under investigation at this time.
